New Campaign Has Been Announced: Ban Old People From Driving
0 Comments | Posted by Dudy Adityawan in Society and Culture
Some older people have been thrown into the mix when it comes to driving as many people want them to be banned. I do not think that this is a bad idea providing that they are tested before hand because it is pretty harsh for someone to just take a license from an old person when they could be more than capable of driving.
Banning people from motorways is almost a bridge to this gap and old people do not need to be banned full stop, just from driving on the most dangerous roads. I will once again say that if this happens there should still be a test because there will be many old people that can still drive very well indeed. Is it fair to do this, what if an elderly person drives up to see their family once a week or needs to get to the airport and doesn’t way to pay extortionate taxi prices. This is not fair at all.
Older generations do actually cause a lot of accidents on the road but this doesnt mean it is all their fault, could stopping them from driving help these figures that much. I have to say that it can also be very fair to say that they are often not goign fast enough on a motorway and this is not a safe way to drive. At the moment it doesnt help either parties, the old people are abused for going to slow and the drivers are annoyed because they are going too slow.
Another issue is that with banning old people from driving you are going to see a lot less Bad Credit Car Leasing and this isn’t a great thing because it will shut down a lot of businesses. This is going to mean safer roads surely.
Cheap Lease Cars and general Audi Leasing is most likely the best option to take for an elderly person, do you think it is best for them not to drive, I think we should give them a chance.

Tangkuban Perahu, or Tangkuban Parahu in local Sundanese dialect, is an active volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs up-close, and buy eggs cooked on its hot surface. This stratovolcano is on the island of Java and last erupted in 1983.
In April 2005 the Directorate of Volcano logy and Geological Hazard Mitigation raised an alert, forbidding visitors from going up the volcano. “Sensors on the slopes of the two mountains – Anak Krakatoa on the southern tip of Sumatra Island and Tangkuban Perahu in Java – picked up an increase in volcanic activity and a build up of gases, said government volcanologist Syamsul Rizal.
