Taxonomy of Affective Behavior Individual Regions

Affective areas of the region associated emotional aspects, such as feelings, interests, attitudes, adherence to moral and so on, consists of:
1. Acceptance (receiving / attending)
Specified reception area into three stages, namely:
• Readiness to receive (awareness), namely the readiness to interact with the stimulus (the phenomenon or object that will be studied), which is characterized by the presence and effort to pay attention to relevant stimuli.
• Willingness to accept (willingness to receive), the attempt to allocate attention to relevant stimuli.
• Specializing attention (controlled or selected attention). Perhaps attention was only drawn to colors, sounds or certain words only.
2. Speech (responding)
Holding action against the stimulus, which includes the following processes:
• Readiness to respond (acquiescence of responding). Example: ask questions, put a picture of a loved figure on the wall of the room in question, or comply with traffic regulations.
• Willingness to respond (willingness to respond), the attempt to see special things in the note section. For example in the design or color alone.
• Satisfaction response (satisfaction in response), that is the action or activity related to efforts to satisfy the desire to know. Examples of activities that appear from the satisfaction of this response is to ask, scribbling or drawing, taking pictures of objects that become the center of attention, and so on.
3. Assessment (valuing)
At this stage already started to emerge internalization process to own and live the values of the stimulus at hand. Assessment is divided into four stages as follows:
1. Receive value (acceptance of value), which is a continuation of efforts to satisfy themselves to respond more intensively.
2. Selecting the preferred value (preference for a value) is expressed in an effort to find examples of behavior that can satisfy enjoy, such as paintings that have a satisfactory.
3. Commitment is a value of the specific reasons that arise from a series of experiences.
4. This commitment is expressed with amusement, amazement, awe. Admire the courage one, showing commitment to the values of courage.
4. Organizing (organization)
At this stage concerned not only internalize a certain value as in the commitment stage, but began to see some relevant values for compiled into a single value system. This process occurs in two stages, namely:
• Conceptualization of values, namely the desire to judge other people’s work, or find the assumptions that underlie a moral or habit.
• Organizing the value system, which is set the device in a system of values based on the level of preferences. In this value system puts in question the most preferred value at a critical level, followed then the perceived value rather important, and so on according to the sequence of self-pleasure concerned.
5. Characterization (Characterization)
Characterization of the ability to live up to or embody a value system at this stage if the above organization’s value system can be arranged, then the arrangement was not consistent within the question. Means easy to change according the situation. In the characterization phase, the system is always consistent. This process consists of two stages, namely:
• Generalization, the ability to view a problem from a particular perspective.
• Characterization, which is developing a particular view of life that gives motive to self-relevant personality
